Boys Basketball:
San Dimas took an early leg-up in the Valle Vista League title chase.
The Saints secured a 53-42 victory at Northview in a battle of 2-0 programs.
SDHS led 33-10 at the half.
Logan Hodson scored a game-high 20 points.
Nathan Yearout hit four 3’s and finished with 16 points.
Nick Santillan and Alex Medrano scored 12 points apiece for NHS.
All 12 of Santillan’s points came from beyond the 3-point arc.
Up next: The Saints and Vikings will both host Valle Vista League games on Monday.
NHS welcomes West Covina, and SDHS will face Charter Oak.
