Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep has extended the San Gabriel Valley area’s longest win streak (boys or girls) to 15 games.
The Wolves headed home from Burbank with a 55-31 Prep League victory over Providence.
Prep had a slim six-point lead at the half, but they would go on a 29-9 run in the second half to pull away for another comfortable win.
They are now 5-0 in Prep League games.
Maddie Smith led the way with 12 points and six rebounds.
Megan Quoch chipped in with 10 points, and Pressley Huie had nine.
Lia Krumian had a game-high 18 points for Providence.
Olivia Childs finished with eight points and 13 rebounds, and Akemi Fu provided eight points for the Wolves.
Up next: Flintridge Prep will be back in action tonight (Thursday) at Westridge.
The tip is set for 5.
