Boys Basketball:
Ayala kept its share of first place in the Palomares League standings thanks to Friday’s 77-44 victory over Colony.
The Bulldogs are 2-0, and they’ll face Bonita (2-0 in league) on Wednesday night in La Verne.
Josiah Yang had a game-high 22 points, including a pair of 3’s for the Bulldogs.
Christian Martinez chipped in with 16 points.
Jeremy Serrano finished with 15 points, and he hit two 3-pointers.
Nine of Brenden White’s 14 points came from beyond the 3-point arc.
