Damien put Friday’s Baseline League opener away early.
The Spartans led by 35 points at the half, and they secured an 81-34 victory over visiting Upland.
Xavier Clinton and Nate Garcia had 18 points apiece.
Jacob Allen chipped in with 16 points.
Clinton and Allen had four 3-pointers apiece.
Austin Willie led UHS with 11 points, and Baraka Ogot had eight.
