Boys Basketball:
Glendora closed out the Classic at Damien with three consecutive wins.
The Tartans fell, 62-54, in an opening round loss to Alameda.
But they would go on to defeat South Bakersfield (72-35), Lakewood (59-48) and Central Fresno (51-46).
The three wins was good enough to secure the Bronze Division’s consolation title.
GHS improved its record to 13-6.
The Tartans were missing two of their top scorers, Max Hilgenfeldt and Elijah Regan to illness.
Colton Gray had a game-high 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Chris Lee totaled 13 points and two rebounds.
Sebastian Demano chipped in with 10 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Garrett Dykstra finished with five points and eight rebounds.
Myron Pondexter-Johnson led Central Fresno with 12 points.
Branden Ezell chipped in with 11 points.
Up next: GHS will host Claremont on Friday in a Palomares League contest.
