Girls Basketball:
Fairmont Prep accomplished three things on Saturday night.
First, they avenged a November 18th (61-53) loss to GHS, second, they secured the Glendora Tournament, and third, FP snapped the Tartans’ 15-game win streak thanks to a 53-45 victory.
With the game tied at 29-29 at the break, the Huskies went on a 34-16 second-half run.
Adyra Rajan hit four 3-pointers and she scored a game-high 28 points for Fairmont Prep.
Kayla Priest and Sarah Aldeguer had 11 points apiece in the win.
Rylie Anderson led GHS with 15 points.
Rebekah Zweerink chipped in with 13 points, and Reagan Herrmann had nine points.
Up next: GHS will host Claremont on Friday in a Palomares League game.
