Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep went 4-0 at the La Canada New Year’s Ball Tournament.
The Wolves outscored their four opponents (La Canada, Hart, Crescenta Valley & GHC) by a combined margin of 229-147.
On Friday, Prep claimed a 57-40 victory over Granada Hills Charter.
The Wolves have won 14 consecutive games.
Maddie Smith earned Tournament MVP honors, and she scored 22 points and grabbed five rebounds.
Akemi Fu chipped in with 11 points and was named to the all-tournament team.
Addison Lee contributed nine points.
Pressley Huie provided six points and five steals in the win.
Karma Paez led Granada Hills Charter with 15 points, and Brigita Bulotaite had 12.
Up next: The Wolves travel to Providence (7-1, 0-0) on Wednesday in a Prep League showdown.
