Boys Basketball:
Glendora earned a spot in Saturday’s Bronze Division consolation championship after defeating Lakewood, 59-48, on Thursday in the third round of the Classic at Damien.
GHS took a 10-point lead into the break, and edged the Lancers, 30-29, in the second half.
Max Hilgenfeldt had a game-high 14 points for the Tartans.
Colton Gray chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Kedric Dockery led Lakewood with 10 points.
The Lancers got nine points from Devon Smith, and Raqphuel Johnson and Devin Butler scored eight points each.
Will Walker contributed seven points and five rebounds, and Sebastian Demano had seven points and five assists in Thursday’s win.
Up next: GHS will face Central Fresno on Saturday at 7 at Bonita for the consolation championship.
