Girls Basketball:
La Salle is 16-0 in 2023-24, thanks to Tuesday’s 59-37 victory over Poly of Sun Valley at the Burroughs Tournament.
They went on a 33-15 run in the second half to pull away from the Parrots.
Of their 16 wins, 15 have come by 20 points or more.
Emily Fong led the Lancers in scoring for the first time.
Fong connected on three 3-pointers, and she finished with 13 points.
Casey Higgins chipped in with 12 points, and Audrey Chen had 10.
Heart Lising paced the Poly offense with 13 points, and Jhada Cordon contributed 10 points in the loss.
La Salle’s Julianne Tan (8) and Kaden Cortes (7) combined to score 15 points.
Up next: The Lancers are set to face Hamilton on Thursday morning at 11:30.
The Yankees (8-2) claimed a 58-52 victory over Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks on Tuesday.
