La Salle Goes on a 32-3 Run in Second Half to Secure La Salle Winter Classic Title w/a 46-17 Victory Over Los Osos

Girls Basketball:

For the first time all season, La Salle didn’t lead at the half.

The undefeated Lancers were locked in a 14-14 tie with Los Osos in the championship game of the La Salle Winter Classic.

Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, however, La Salle went on a 32-3 run in the second half and claimed a 46-17 victory.

The Lancers are now 15-0 to start the 2023-24 season.

They have outscored their opponents by a combined margin of 806-376.

Audrey Chen and Kaden Cortes scored 14 points apiece to lead the Lancers.

Chen was named the MVP and Cortes hit a pair of 3’s on Saturday night.

Casey Higgins (six points) and Julianne Tan (five) combined for 11 points, and both earned all-tournament status.

Ivana Nwagbo led Los Osos with five points, and Alexus Finley finished with four points in the loss.
