La Salle Defeated Saugus, 40-13, to Earn Spot in Own Tournament Final; Lancers Improve to 14-0

Girls Basketball:

La Salle earned a spot in their own tournament final thanks to Friday’s 40-13 victory over Saugus.

The Centurions managed just two points total in each of the first three quarters, and they didn’t have a player with more than three points.

Casey Higgins led La Salle with 11 points.

Julianne Tan chipped in with eight points.

Audrey Chen and Avery Ward contributed six points apiece in Friday’s win.

La Salle is now 14-0 to start the 2023-24 season.

Up next: The Lancers will host Los Osos tonight (Saturday) at 7 in the La Salle Tournament title game.
