Boys Basketball:
Ayala made the most of its final tune-up before opening Palomares League play on Friday.
The Bulldogs outscored Wilson, 37-20, in the second and fourth quarters to secure a 62-48 victory on Wednesday.
AHS had seven players that contributed four points or more to the cause.
Christian Martinez had a game-high 14 points and Joshua Townsell chipped in with 11.
Tyler Wong led Wilson with 13 points, and Justin Kayode had 10 in Wednesday’s loss.
Jeremy Serrano finished with 10 points for the Bulldogs and Josiah Yang had seven.
Up next: Ayala will open Palomares League action on Friday, as they host the 2022-23 co-league champs from Glendora.
GHS has won six consecutive games, and AHS is on a four-game win streak.
