Pasadena off to its Best Start Since 2006-07; Bulldogs Defeat Burbank, 76-62, in Pacific League Contest

The last time Pasadena opened a season 8-0, some of the current members of this Bulldogs’ program hadn’t been born.

On Friday evening, PHS left Burbank with a 76-62 Pacific League victory, which matches their best start since the 2006-07 season.

The Bulldogs went on a 39-32 run in the second half to improve to 4-0 in Pacific League games.

Desmond Every had a monster game with 28 points, four rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Gavin Hollins-Law chipped in with 15 points, five boards, two assists and a pair of blocked shots.

Ike Mitchell finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

Odartey Blankson led Burbank with 19 points.

Anthony Jawiche scored 14 points and Kamran Alborzian had 12 points in the loss.

Up next: The Bulldogs will face Centennial (4-1) of Boise, Idaho, on Monday at 1:30, in the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas.
