Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep made another step forward towards a defense of their Prep League title.
The Wolves improved to 2-0 in league after a 60-19 victory over visiting Westridge.
The Tigers were unable to score more than seven points in any of Friday’s four quarters.
And Prep was able to get much-needed playing time for their entire roster.
Maddie Smith led the way with 17 points in just 10 minutes of game time.
Megan Quoch had 10 points, while Izzie Chan, Addison Lee and Hailey Louie chipped in with five points apiece.
Sarah Kong scored eight of Westridge’s 19 points.
Up next: The Wolves will play for the Bonita-Claremont Tournament today (Saturday) at 3.
Prep and Claremont (7-2) meet up at Bonita High School.
