Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Sacred Heart won a 3-point shootout with Pasadena at the Poly Tournament.
In a game that featured 17 combined 3-pointers, FSHA edged PHS, 49-42, on Friday.
Emily Petrosyan hit all eight of the Tologs 3-pointers, and she finished with a game-high 28 points.
Ava Nawrocki chipped in with 12 points, and Sophia Astacaan had seven.
Pasadena actually had a 9-8 advantage in 3-pointers made.
And Alique Klahejian led the way with six 3’s and finished with 18 points.
Franmarie Diaz contributed 12 points for the Bulldogs.
Megan Vuong hit a pair of 3-pointers, and she chipped in with eight points in Friday’s loss.
Up next: FSHA faces Holy Martyrs today (Saturday) at 2:30, and PHS battles the tournament host at 4.
