Boys Basketball:
Pasadena is now 6-0, thanks to Friday’s 58-45 victory at Hoover.
The Bulldogs have opened Pacific League play at 2-0, and they have wins over Crescenta Valley and Hoover.
PHS trailed 13-10 after the first quarter, but a 34-19 run in the second and third periods helped Pasadena get some breathing room.
Brandin Carpenter had a big night with game highs in points (16) and rebounds (9).
Jovan Jester chipped in with 13 points, two rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Gavin Hollins-Law added nine points, six rebounds, two blocks and three steals.
Up next: PHS will host Burroughs on Tuesday at 5:15 in another Pacific League contest.
