Bonita Defeats Tournament Host Baldwin, 53-42, & in Friday’s Second Game, Fell to St. Louis, 68-50; Bearcats Are 3-1 in Hawaii

Boys Basketball:

Bonita defeated the Baldwin Tournament host, 53-42, on Friday, to improve to 3-0 in Hawaii.

Later that day, St. Louis of Honolulu (4-1) handed the Bearcats its first setback, 68-50.

We only have the game info from the first game, and Baldwin does not post their roster online.

As far as Bonita goes, Colton Perez had a game-high 25 points.

Perez scored 11 points in the first half, and 14 more in the second.

Josh Kim scored six of his eight points in the fourth quarter, including one 3-pointer.

Hunter Smith and Collin Henry chipped in with six points apiece.

Andrew Sanchez finished with five points for BHS.

Up next: Bonita will wrap up Baldwin Tournament play in Hawaii on Saturday afternoon.

The Bearcats face Kohala (2-2) at noon, and they’ll fly back to Southern California on Sunday.
