Girls Basketball:
For the second week in a row, the La Salle girls basketball program will play for a tournament title.
After a 48-14 victory over Temple City at the Gary Houston Winter Classic, the Lancers earned a spot in Saturday’s title game, and they improved to 11-0.
Casey Higgins outscored TCHS, 16-14.
Audrey Chen hit two 3-pointers and finished with 10 points.
Julianne Tan had six points and Kaden Cortes chipped in with five points.
Kristi Huynh led the Rams with six points, and Tallulah Trieu had five in Thursday’s loss.
Up next: La Salle will battle Sonora (4-1) on Saturday night at 6 for the tournament title.
