Girls Basketball:
Marshall Fundamental handed Covina its seventh consecutive loss to start the 2023-24 season.
And they did so at Covina’s own tournament.
Marshall led 28-12 at the half, and they never really got challenged in Wednesday’s 54-19 victory.
Madelyn Degooyer and Jolynn Alibar led the Eagles with 12 points apiece.
Kaitlan Sakuma chipped in with 10 points.
Danie Singley led Covina with 12 points.
