Colton Perez Scores 18 Points in Bonita’s 72-61 Victory Over King Kekaulike at Baldwin Tournament in Hawaii

Bonita opened Baldwin Tournament play in Hawaii with a 72-61 victory over King Kekaulike.

The Bearcats trailed 38-34 at the break, but BHS outscored King Kekaulike, 38-23, in the second half.

Colton Perez led the way with 18 points.

Perez scored 16 of those 18 points in the second half, including 12 in the fourth quarter.

Hunter Smith and Jake Quintana chipped in with 14 points apiece.

Smith had a team-high two 3-pointers, and Quintana hit one 3.

Naaisr Ainsworth had eight points.

Josh Kim and Drew Sanchez contributed six points each.
