Girls Basketball:
La Salle claimed the San Marino Tournament with Saturday’s 55-30 victory over St. Paul.
The Lancers went on a 17-4 run in the second quarter, and they enjoyed a 32-15 lead at the half.
Kaden Cortes was on fire.
Cortes scored 21 of her game-high 23 points from beyond the 3-point line.
Casey Higgins chipped in with 10 points and Audrey Chen scored nine points.
Loretta Aguirre-Colmenero led St. Paul with 15 points.
Audrey Chen was named the tournament’s MVP, and Higgins and Cortes both earned all-tournament honors.
