Boys Basketball:
Glendora finished 3-1 at this week’s Gary Prestesater Classic at SDHS.
The Tartans closed out the tournament with a 43-39 victory over Ontario Christian.
OCHS outscored GHS, 27-19, in the first and fourth quarters.
But Glendora used a 24-12 advantage in the second and third periods to outlast the Knights.
Chris Lee and Will Walker scored eight points apiece for GHS.
Lee had five rebounds and Walker grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Garrett Dykstra chipped in with seven points and four rebounds, while Elijah Regan and Max Hilgenfeldt had six points each.
Max Ma had a game-high 14 points for Ontario Christian.
Glendora’s lone setback was a double-OT loss to undefeated San Marino.
Up next: GHS will host Don Lugo on Monday at 8 in the first day of the Glendora Tournament.
