Boys Basketball:
Glendora earned a spot in this weekend’s semifinal round of the Gary Prestesater Classic.
GHS secured a comfortable 63-43 over Western Christian on Wednesday night.
The Tartans led throughout, but it was a 22-8 run in the third quarter that put the game on ice.
Colton Gray had 22 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
Sebastian Demano chipped in with 13 points, four assists and two rebounds.
Max Hilgenfeldt scored six points and Elijah Regan had five.
Ian Wang, Will Walker and Garrett Dykstra contributed four points apiece.
DJ Harris led Western Christian with 13 points and JJ Hooper had six points in Wednesday’s loss.
Up next: GHS will face off with San Marino on Friday in the semifinal round.
The tip is set for 6:30 at San Dimas High School.
