Girls Basketball:
St. Paul got out to an early lead and defeated Flintridge Sacred Heart, 56-40, at the San Marino Tournament.
The Swordsmen took a 32-18 lead into the break and the result was never in doubt.
St. Paul’s Loretta Aguirre led all scorers with 27 points.
Ava Nawrocki had 13 points for FSHA, and Sophia Astacaan chipped in with 12 points.
Isabelle Risha contributed nine points for the Tologs, and Emily Petrosyan had six.
Sara Garado contributed 17 points for the Swordsmen.
Up next: The Tologs travel to Maranata on Friday night at 8.
