Boys Basketball:
Pasadena opened the 2023-24 season with a 60-44 victory over Cleveland in the Rose City Classic.
The Bulldogs led by four points at the half, but they used a 26-14 second-half run to pull away.
Jovan Jester led with the way with 21 points, five rebounds, five steals and five assists.
Desmond Every chipped in with 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.
Gavin Hollins-Law finished with nine points, four rebounds,two assists and a steal.
Up next: PHS will face South Pasadena on Wednesday at 8:15.
