Girls Basketball:
Glendora finished the Oxford Academy Tournament 3-1, which was good enough for fifth place in the Gold Division.
On Saturday, the Tartans secured a 61-53 victory over Fairmont Prep.
GHS opened the game on a 25-14 run, and the outcome was never in doubt.
Rylie Anderson led the way with 22 points.
Anderson hit four 3’s and scored 15 points in that first-quarter run.
Reagan Herrman had 12 points and Brianna Gomez chipped in with 10
Addison Martin (9) and Rebekah Zweerink (6) combined for 15 points in Saturday’s win.
Up next: The Tartans open Kaiser Tournament play on Wednesday against Sultana.
