Boys Basketball:
Glendora was unable to find its rhythm offensively until the fourth quarter of Saturday’s Sunny Hills Tournament finale against El Dorado.
And EDHS took advantage of that and claimed a 50-42 victory.
GHS scored seven points in each of the first three quarters before its 21-point fourth period.
It also doesn’t help the Tartans cause that Benji Holt and Chris Lee are still sidelined.
Colton Gray led Glendora with 17 points, eight rebounds and two assists.
Vincent Montalbo had his best night at the varsity level, as the Tartans junior scored eight points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and two rebounds.
Sebastian Demano and Max Hilgenfeldt both chipped in with six points and three assists.
Andrew Sallador led El Dorado with 12 points, and Erick Eng contributed 10 points in Saturday’s win.
Up next: GHS won’t be in action until November 27th, when they host Arroyo.
