Maranatha opened the 2023-24 season with a 2-2 tie at Sierra Canyon.
The Minutemen got both of their goals in the first half.
Freshman Caleb Freeman had an unassisted goal to give MHS a 1-0 lead.
After the Trailblazers tied the game at 1-1, sophomore Luca Youssefian gave Maranatha a 2-1 advantage as they headed into halftime.
Lorenzo Rodrigues had five saves in goal for MHS.
