Boys Water Polo
This Bonita High School boys water polo program is not messing around.
After claiming a CIF-SS Division 4 championship one week ago, the Bearcats will play for a CIF State Division 3 So Cal Regional title today at Mt. SAC.
The Bearcats dismantled Ayala, 17-2, on Friday.
And BHS didn’t leave any doubt, as they led 8-0 after one period, and they shut out the Bulldogs 8-0 in the second half.
Jacob Carlson had a monster afternoon with 10 goals.
Max Distaso contributed a pair of goals, while Matt Humpert, Jackson Dincin, Parker Montgomery, Shane Ibarra and Giancarlo Garcia chipped in with one goal each.
Julian Falk had seven saves and three assists in goal for the Bearcats.
Up next: The Bearcats will battle Palisades for the CIF State Division 3 So Cal Regional championship today at 1 at Mt. SAC.
The Dolphins (19-12) defeated Birmingham, 18-8, on Friday.
