Boys Basketball:
Arlington used significant second-and-fourth-quarter surges to claim a 66-52 victory over Glendora at the Sunny Hills Tournament.
The Lions outscored the Tartans, 37-19, in the second and fourth quarters.
Lincoln Liggins had 18 points and Ryan Wheeler scored 15 points to pace the Arlington offense.
For the third consecutive game to start the 2023 season, Colton Gray led the GHS offense.
Gray finished with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Sebastian Demano added nine points, four rebounds and four assists.
Max Hilgenfeldt chipped in with seven points and five rebounds.
And Elijah Regan contributed seven points, four rebounds and four assists.
Up next: GHS will face Summit on Friday at Troy High School.
The tip is set for 6:30.
