Mt. SAC secured a National Central Conference championship and a 10-0 regular season on Saturday afternoon in Huntington Beach.

But it did not come easy.

The Mounties left Surf City with a 33-21 victory at Golden West College in a battle of the state’s No. 3 and No. 7 ranked programs.

MSAC led 3-0 after Diego Esqueda’s 34-yard field goal at the 10:12 mark of the first quarter.
