Football:
A big congrats to former Ayala/current Roosevelt quarterback, Bryan Wilson.
Wilson committed to further his football career in 2024 at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
Between 2020-2022, Ayala went 22-5 while No. 3 was leading the offense, including a 7-1 mark in Mountain West League games.
Wilson played his senior season at Roosevelt High School in Eastvale.
The Mustangs went 6-4 this year, with a 1-3 record in Big West League games.
In his final regular season game, Wilson completed 19-of-29 passes for 344 yards.
He tossed six TD passes and was intercepted once.
If that weren’t enough, Wilson gained 84 yards on 11 carries, and that included a pair of TD’s.
If your math skills are at least at a remedial level, it means that Wilson accounted for an insane eight total TD’s on Thursday against second-place Chaparral.
Over his senior campaign, Wilson was 161-of-276 for 2,321 yards.
He threw for 26 TD’s & eight picks.
Aside from his stellar play behind center, Wilson is a respectful and intelligent young man, and he comes from a supportive and loving family.
The Camels compete in the Coastal Athletic Association.
Congratulations, Bryan.
