Ever since Demaricus Davis rallied Etiwanda from 26 down in the fourth quarter of last year’s CIF-SS Division 5 title game against St. Francis, the Eagles have been almost unstoppable.

On Friday night, EHS controlled throughout its 34-14 victory over Glendora at Citrus College.

The Etiwanda defense held GHS to nearly 24 points under its per-game average, and they led 21-0 and 34-7, in nothing short of a convincing and dominant performance.

Davis was 21-of-29 for 344 yards and two scores in the win.

Jaden Landrum was Davis’ favorite target, tallying seven receptions for 95 yards.

Davis and Landrum connected on a 5-yard TD pass.

Aiden Hall had Davis’ other TD pass (48 yards), and he finished with three catches for 75 yards.

Jaiden Moss had a 16-yard TD run for the Eagles.

Glendora ruined any chances it had Friday night after turning the ball over four times.

Eric Najarro completed 18-of-30 for 155 yards, and that included a 23-yard TD to Decker DeGraaf.

Simon Zwick had the Tartans other score, as he rumbled into the end zone from 34 yards out.

Zwick carried the ball 13 times for 65 yards.

DeGraaf caught seven passes for 99 yards.

Tim Johnson had four receptions for 47 yards.

Up next: GHS heads to Diamond Ranch on Thursday, and EHS travels to Cajon on Friday.
