Football:
After week one and two losses, La Salle got back on the winning track.
The Lancers went out to Alhambra and put a 49-13 beatdown on the Moors.
La Salle led 42-0 at the break and evened its season record at 2-2.
Zach Lifton had huge night, going 16-of-22 for 321 yards and five TD’s.
Lifton also had 37 yards rushing on three carries, and that included a pair of TD runs.
David Vanden Bosch led the Lancers ground game with 106 yards on 14 carries, and one score.
Mauricio Pavon had five receptions for 63 yards and one TD.
Drew Ward totaled 129 receiving yards on three catches and one score.
Aidan Leyland caught three passes for 40 yards and reeled in one TD.
Vanden Bosch had three receptions for 40 yards, and one score.
Thomas Gomez had seven tackles and an interception for the La Salle defense.
Up next: The Lancers will host Covina on Friday night.
The Colts (3-1) fell for the first time tonight, 37-35, at Covina District Field.
