The defending CIF-SS Division 2 champions from Etiwanda saw its D-1 playoff run come to an end on Tuesday.
JSerra ended the Eagles season, 6-1, in South Orange County.
Five of the Lions nine hits were of the extra-base variety, including three home runs.
And JSerra got a solid effort on the mound from Benjamin Reimers.
Reimers went 6 1/3 innings and surrendered one run on four hits.
He issued one walk and fanned seven EHS batters.
Brady Ebel singled and scored.
Anthony Huezo, Tyler McEvoy and Mike Harrison had one hit apiece to account for the rest of the Eagles offense.
Ebel got the loss, allowing five runs (three earned) on seven hits.
The Eagles sophomore went four innings, walking one and striking out a pair of JSerra batters.
Nico Neri provided two innings in relief and allowed one run on two hits.
Neri walked one and struck out one.
Dominic Smaldino walked twice, homered and drove in a pair of runs.
Jonathan Mendez had a single, HR and a pair of RBIs.
Trent Caraway doubled and scored.
Charlie Caruso tripled and scored for the Lions.
Andrew Lamb hit a solo HR and scored two runs.
