Flintridge Prep pounded out 11 hits in Friday’s 10- 6 victory over La Salle in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs.
The Wolves and Lancers combined for 16 runs, 18 hits, six errors and five pitchers.
Max Brunngraber went 6 1/3 innings to earn the win.
Brunngraber surrendered five runs (two earned) on six hits.
The Wolves senior walked two and struck out four La Salle batters.
David Mysza had two triples, three runs and an RBI.
Will Clougherty singled and scored.
Chris Cardenas singled, scored and had an RBI.
Hunter Vigil walked, singled and scored.
Peter Calihan and Travis Ochoa singled for the Lancers.
Moses Aguirre had an RBI groundout.
Flintridge Prep got six runs (three earned) on four hits and three walks off Morgan Sullivan, and four runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks against Val Gomez.
Nathan Sanok walked, singled, scored twice and had an RBI.
Rowan Schaeffer went 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.
JR Kully singled, scored and had an RBI.
Brian Xu singled twice and scored.
Calvin Chen walked, singled twice, scored and had one RBI.
Will Koh walked, singled and scored two times in Friday’s win.
Brunngraber helped his own cause with a single and run scored.
Up next: Flintridge Prep will travel to take on Long Beach Poly.
The Jackrabbits (23-3) edged Beckman, 7-6, on Friday.
