It’s official.
South Hills clinched its sixth Hacienda League championship in the last seven years.
The Huskies crushed Rowland, 14-0, on Friday, as they out-hit the Raiders, 10-2.
Daniel Camou went three scoreless and hitless innings to earn the win.
Camou issued one walk and struck out six.
Anthony Gaona allowed one hit over his three innings, and he walked one and fanned three.
Marcos Rosales gave up one hit and got all three of his outs via strikeout.
Nathaniel Li and Tristan Chavira had one hit apiece for the Raiders.
Derek Salazar got the loss after surrendering 10 runs (nine earned) on six hits and four walks over two innings.
Matt Moreno had two doubles, an RBI and scored a pair of runs.
Paul Vazquez doubled, scored twice and drove in a run.
Steven Jimenez hit a solo HR.
Marcos Rosales walked twice and scored a pair of runs.
Noah Malone walked, singled, scored and had two RBIs.
Luke Bauer walked, doubled, drove in two and scored.
Malaki Pelayo walked, scored and had one RBI.
Spencer Froh scored and had an RBI.
Gabe Martinez singled, doubled, scored twice and had an RBI.
Jerry Zavala walked twice, singled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Sterling Patick, who’s known for his arm, singled in Friday’s win.
