Baseball:
The Pacific League championship remains in the control of Arcadia High School.
At the start of the week, Crescenta Valley needed just one of two with the Apaches to recapture the league crown.

Lopez walked four and struck out four.
The league’s most consequential player, Fernando Placencia, got the final six outs to close out the championship.
He allowed one hit, didn’t issue a walk and fanned one CV batter.
Jimmy Spears went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Dash Schultz singled and scored.
Chris Torres had a double and an RBI.
Connor Campbell got the loss, allowing six runs on six hits in just two innings of work.
He walked two and fanned four AHS batters.
