MacCharles surrendered two runs on eight hits.
He issued just one walk and struck out five Claremont batters.
MacCharles needed 89 pitches to finish what he started, with 55 going for strikes.
Adrian Sanchez doubled and scored.
Izaiah Camacho singled and scored for the Wolfpack.
Kyle Navarro singled and had an RBI.
