Softball:
Glendora has picked up consecutive wins over Alta Loma in the last two days.
On Monday, the Tartans edged the Braves, 4-3, in eight innings.
And yesterday, GHS claimed a 6-1 road victory.
Audrey Aguilar got the loss after surrendering four runs on five hits and one walk over 1 1/3 innings.
GHS got a pair of runs on six hits off Donica Meyndert.
Meyndert went 5 2/3 innings, walked four and fanned five GHS batters.
Kaylie Winovitch went 2-for-4 with a solo HR and scored two runs.
Ryan Speh singled, doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
Ayva Cabuena doubled and hit a solo HR.
Liliana Hawker doubled, scored and had an RBI.
Makenna Coleman singled, scored and drove in one.
Bridget Nemeth walked twice and singled.
Allison Salgado singled for GHS.
Nemeth dominated in the circle.
She went the distance and allowed one run on five hits.
Nemeth issued one walk and struck out eight ALHS batters.
Alyssa Pulicari hit a solo HR in the bottom of the first inning.
Mackenzie Clark, Emma McCharles, Izabella Poveda and Alyssa Valadez singled for the Braves.
