St. Francis got another solid effort on the mound from Caleb Thatcher in Wednesday’s 4-1 nonleague victory over St. Bonaventure.

Thatcher went 5 1/3 innings and allowed one run on three hits.

Thatcher walked one and struck out eight Seraphs batters.

Max Peters walked, doubled twice and drove in the only SBHS run.

Anthony Colitti singled and scored.

Austin Watkins got the loss after allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits over his four innings of work.

He walked two and struck out three Golden Knights.

Thatcher helped his own cause at the plate.

He went 2-for-3, with a walk, run and RBI.

Lucas Dixon singled, doubled, scored and drove in a run.

Jordan Viramontes walked and scored.

Brody Ruyle singled twice in Wednesday’s win.

Aaron Hernandez doubled and Dane Shepard singled.

Callum Clark reached base on an error, and eventually scored on a wild pitch.

Up next: The Golden Knights will host Simi Valley today (Thursday) at 3:30.
