Ayala kept its share of first place in the Palomares League thanks to Tuesday’s 7-5 victory at Alta Loma.
Jeremy Byers got the win, going five innings and allowing one run on five hits.
He walked two and struck out three ALHS batters.
Seth Reker went 2-for-4 with a double, run and four RBIs.
Alexander Erickson walked, singled twice, doubled and scored a pair of runs.
Evan Salcido singled twice, doubled and drove in a run.
Tucker Kraushaar singled and scored.
Ayala got to Grant MacCharles for six runs on five hits over four innings.
He walked three and struck out a pair of Bulldogs.
Ethan Nunez doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Marcus Galvan walked, doubled, scored twice and had one RBI.
