Hoffstetter Goes Distance in Arcadia’s 4-1 Pacific League Victory Over Burroughs; Eskridge & Palencia Combine for Five Hits & Four RBIs

Arcadia remained perfect in Pacific League play on Tuesday.

The Apaches rode the right arm of Ian Hoffstetter to a 4-1 victory over Burroughs.

Hoffstetter surrendered just one unearned run on five hits.

He walked two and struck out four in a complete-game effort.

Sebastian Zamora had three of the Bears five hits.

Nate Champman and Logan Drossin had the other two.

Zack Freck got the loss, allowing three runs on seven hits over four innings of work.

Freck didn’t issue a walk and struck out six Apaches.

Devon Eskridge singled, doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.

Fernando Palencia went 3-for-3 with two RBIs.

Ben Cooper had a pair of singles.

Jerry Carlos walked and scored.

Leo Peniche singled and scored.

Up next: The Apaches travel to Burroughs on Friday night at 6.
