Baseball:
Charter Oak claimed a 14-1 Valle Vista League victory at Diamond Ranch in five innings.
The Chargers out-hit the Panthers, 14-3, and took advantage of four D-Ranch errors.
Anthony Vasquez was credited with the win, allowing one run on two hits in two innings.
He walked one and struck out four.
Saul Parada tripled and scored.
Offensively, Vasquez went 3-for-4 with two doubles, four runs and two RBIs.
Chris Gonzalez walked, doubled, tripled, scored and drove in four runs.
Diego Ortiz singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
Kaleb Valencia doubled, scored and had two RBIs.
Moses Medrano singled, tripled, scored and drove in one.
Samuel Morales singled, scored a pair of runs and had one RBI.
Josiah Martinez singled and drove in a run.
Nick Moreno singled and scored.
Athen Malone had an RBI base hit.
