Damien improved to 7-0 in Baseline League games thanks to Monday’s 6-0 victory at Los Osos.
Andrew Carter had a dominant outing.
Carter went six scoreless and hitless innings to earn the win.
He issued a pair of walks and struck out seven LOHS batters.
Rudy O’Dell would close out the shutout with a scoreless inning of relief.
He allowed one hit, and got two of his three outs via strikeout.
The Spartans got six runs on nine hits against Los Osos’ Parker Delacy, Ayden Holker and Davis Sharp.
Justin Dunn and Julian Hines went both went 2-for-4 with one run apiece.
Daniel Serna singled and scored.
Nikko Paoletto walked twice, scored and had an RBI.
Jett Hernandez doubled, scored and drove in a run.
Tyler Daley walked, singled twice, scored and had an RBI.
Dom Ramirez singled once in Monday’s win.
