Northview entered the week on a six-game losing streak, and one of the area’s most elite players, Dean Curley, had a tremendous three-day run.
The Vikings dropped a 6-4 decision to Trabuco Hills on Monday.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, NHS defeated Portola (13-0) and Aliso Niguel (7-1), respectively.
Over that stretch, Curley went 8-for-10, with three doubles, a triple and one home run.
The future Tennessee Volunteer scored four runs and finished the week with eight RBIs.
Curley’s breakout game was a 4-for-4 effort on Tuesday with two walks, a triple and seven RBIs.
