Tomas Bilvado Goes Distance, Allowing One Earned Run & Strikes Out Six in San Marino’s 6-2 RHL Victory at Temple City

Baseball:

San Marino claimed its second consecutive Rio Hondo League series on Thursday.

The Titans got two runs in the top of the fifth and four in the sixth to secure a 6-2 victory at Temple City.

Tomas Bilvado went the distance and allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits.

Bilvado issued four walks and struck out six.

Jack DeKarr walked, doubled and drove in a run.

Parker Thomas walked twice, scored and had an RBI.

Jared Cudras got the loss after going 5 2/3 innings and allowing six runs (two earned) on nine hits.

Cudras issued one walk and fanned five SMHS batters.

Ryan Park went 2-for-4 with a run and RBI.

Tyler Giddings tripled and scored.

Coleman Morning singled, scored and drove in a run.

JJ Wilson singled twice and scored.

Michael Liquori walked, doubled and scored.

Truman Koch went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Riley Short singled and scored.

With six games remaining, including four in RHL play, the Titans already have six more victories than in 2022, including doubling their RHL wins from a year ago.
