After starting Baseline League play 0-5, Upland has a chance on Friday to pick up a three-game sweep of Los Osos.

On Wednesday, Sean York went the distance in a 4-2 victory over the visiting Grizzlies.

York allowed two runs on five hits.

He issued just one walk and fanned six LOHS batters.

Ryan Anderson walked, singled, homered and drove in a pair of runs.

Reagan Samples got the loss.

Samples went six innings and allowed four runs on nine hits.

He didn’t walk a batter and struck out six.

Gavin Marquez singled, doubled, scored and had two RBIs.

Josh Angely went 2-for-3 and scored.

Julian McCord singled, scored and had an RBI.

Griffin Cunningham singled and scored.

Carlos Arteaga singled and had an RBI.

Noah Garbick and Nate Marquez had one hit apiece.

Up next: UHS goes for the sweep on Friday at Los Osos.
