Tyler Giddings Doubled, Homered & Drove in Five in San Marino’s 11-4 Rio Hondo League Victory Over Temple City

After dropping their first four Rio Hondo League games, all of which by one run, San Marino has now won three in a row.

And that includes two over first-place South Pasadena.

On Monday, the Titans got eight runs in the first inning and cruised to an 11-4 victory over Temple City.

Jaykob Duhamel surrendered eight runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks over two innings.

Nathan Mena allowed three runs on one hit in his 2 2/3 innings.

Mena issued three walks and fanned four.

Tyler Giddings walked twice, doubled, homered and drove in five runs.

Ryan Park went 2-for-4 and scored.

Kyle Ly doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.

Coleman Morning walked, singled twice, had an RBI and scored two runs.

JJ Wilson singled, had two RBIs and scored.

Michael Liquori got the win, going 6 1/3 innings and allowing four runs on seven hits.

Liquori walked one and struck out five Rams’ batters.

Duhamel doubled twice and had two RBIs.

Jared Cudras and Arturo Escalante doubled and scored one run each.

Up next: The Titans travel to Temple City on Thursday at 3:30.
