Bryan Yang Goes Distance, Allowing 1 Run & Striking Out 12 in Ayala’s 3-1 Victory Over Brea Olinda

Ayala started this week off in style.

And it was thanks to Bryan Yang.

Yang went the distance in a 3-1 victory over Brea Olinda.

He scattered four hits, didn’t issue a walk and struck out 12.

Yang needed just 84 pitches to finish what he started.

Connor Perez had half of the Wildcats four hits and scored once.

Samuel Dunbar singled and had an RBI.

Owen Brown got the loss after allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits over his four innings of work.

Brown walked two and fanned five Bulldogs’ batters.

Andrew Torres singled twice and scored.

Ethan Nunez went 1-for-3, walked and scored.

Jake Lemoine drove in a run on a sac fly.

Aiden Erlandsen walked and scored.

Matt Yarc and Anthony Hernandez had one single apiece for AHS.

Up next: The Bulldogs will face Newport Harbor on Tuesday night at 6.

The game will be played at the Great Park in Irvine.
